Sports: Reading the field

I've been obsessed with sports my entire life, and what fascinates me most is the strategy. Coaches design plays that account for every possible defensive reaction, and the best athletes think several moves ahead like chess masters. I bring that same strategic mindset to product design: anticipating user paths, planning for edge cases, and creating experiences that work no matter how people actually use them.

Anime: Every frame tells a story

My love for anime goes beyond the art and storytelling, it's the life lessons that shape how I design. Shows like Naruto teach persistence through failure, while Studio Ghibli films show that small, thoughtful details create the most meaningful experiences. I bring that same philosophy to product design: every interaction should feel intentional, and the best solutions often come from embracing constraints rather than avoiding them.

Traveling: Context is everything

Traveling has shown me how differently people think and approach problems. I've watched tourists (including myself) struggle with everything from door handles to payment systems that locals navigate. Now when I'm designing, I'm constantly asking: whose brain am I building this for? Great design starts with understanding the specific mental models, cultural contexts, and usage patterns of your actual users.

My Design Approach

01

Flow-first design. Products should feel like natural extensions of how people think and move. I design experiences that make the next step feel obvious.

02

Clarity through complexity. Drawing from brand and web design where user attention is precious, I make complex information simple without losing its power.

03

One design never fits all. What works for a B2B dashboard might fail in a consumer mobile app. I design products that adapt to different user contexts, mental models, and constraints.

04

Narrative-driven experiences. Every product tells a story. I craft user journeys with clear beginnings, meaningful progression, and satisfying resolution.

05

Speed meets craft. Brand and web design taught me the value of fast decisions under pressure, but lasting products require thoughtful craft. I move quickly toward the right answer, not just any answer.

06

Pattern recognition everywhere. Great insights come from unexpected places. I find design patterns where others see unrelated experiences.

Design should feel like second nature, let’s create that together.
